ZARI

Raphael recently made his Television debut as Guest Star Jan Lubitsch in hit German TV series ‘Alarm Für Cobra 11’ (RTL Channel, Germany).

 

His Feature Film credits include Ben in ‘Arme Ritter’, Bruno in ‘CO-D’, ’The Long Summer of Theory’ and 'Schluss mit Lustig’ (Beta Film). Other Screen Credits include a lead role as Luca in recent Short Film ‘Absolution’, which will soon hit film festivals.

 

Raphael trained at Berlin University of the Arts and at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His credits whilst training include Thisbe in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and Amir Hamidi in '13' by Mike Bartlett (also performed at Cockpit Theatre).

 

His other Stage credits include Quintus in ’Titus Andronicus’ (Dundee Rep), and in Germany, Demetrius in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream', ‘Black and White Ain’t No Colours’ and Klaus/Micha in the Friedrich Luft Award winning production of ‘#BerlinBerlin’ (all for Theatre Strahl), and Hérault-Seychelles in ‘Danton’s Death’ for Theater für Niedersachsen. He most recently starred as Husband in ‘Zauberland’ for Theatre des Bouffes Du Nord.

 

Raphael is now based in London. He speaks fluent English, German and Iranian, and is highly skilled in Martial Arts. He is also skilled in Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Acrobatics, Drums, and holds a Powerboat license.
