PHILIPP

MOGILNITSKIY

Philipp trained at the State Theatre Arts Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia and is currently based in Warsaw, Poland. He is an actor of Russian and Israeli descent and speaks English, Russian and Hebrew fluently. He also speaks Polish.

 

Philipp works internationally across Screen and Stage, and was recently cast as a lead role in the Royal Court Theatre production of ‘Two Palestinians Go Dogging’ in London.

 

Philipp’s extensive Television credits include Series Regular Bagramov in Russian TV series ’S’Parta’ on Netflix (winner of the coveted Best TV Drama Series Award at the Golden Eagles), plus Series Regular Igor Kentayev in 70 episodes of Israeli TV series ‘Full Moon’, ‘Król’ (Canal+) and Recurring Roles such as Serzhant Bechterev in ‘Desant est Desant’ (Russia). He has most recently filmed a role in Polish TV series ‘Dom pod Dwoma Orłami’ for TVP.
 
His other Television credits include major roles and Guest Leads in ‘Conspirators’ (Poland, dir. Jaroslaw Marszewski), ‘Nielegalni’ (Canal+/Telemark - Poland), ‘Podkidysh’ (Russia), ‘Ulyotnyy Ekipazh’ (STS - Russia), as Prince Tcheidze in ‘Krylya Imperii’ (ORT - Russia), Fiodor Palych in ‘Ne vmeste’ (Russia), Rafael in ‘Takaya Rabota’ (RWS - Russia), ‘Svoya Chuzhaya’ (Panorama Studio - Russia) and ‘Into the Night’ (Israel) to name a few.
 
His Theatre credits across Russia and Europe include working with Ivan Vyrypaev in his latest project ‘Iran Conference’, Yoram Sheftel in ‘The Trials of John Demjanjuk: A Holocaust Cabaret’, Takedzo in ‘The Face of Jizo’, Grigoriy in ‘Brothers & Sisters’ and Tupolski in ‘The Pillowman’. Philipp worked for five years with Award Winning director Lev Dodin, at The Maly Drama Theater - Theatre of Europe (St. Petersburg, Russia) where performed as Babay Kerimov in the European tour of ‘Gaudeamus’, Mr. Aslaksen in ‘Enemy of the People’ and Abram in 'Our Class’. 

 
Philipp’s other screen credits include ‘Zátopek’ (Lucky Man Films) and Feature Film ‘What The French Keep Still About’ (Russia).
