Having previously trained professionally as a child/young actor full-time at Italia Conti, and working intitially as a vocalist upon graduation, Gemma-Germaine has retrained in acting as an adult and made her professional acting debut alongside Colin Salmon in short film ‘Could You Be My Match’. Shortly after, she starred as the female lead in Julie Burchill’s controversial play ‘People Like Us’ (Union Theatre), a role which Gemma-Germaine was handpicked for directly by Julie Burchill herself. Excerpts from the play, including Gemma-Germaine's performance, were broadcast on multiple high profile TV discussion/panel shows. Other credits include several short films, audiobooks, music promos and on stage as Maggie in ‘Lend Me A Tenor’. She is a professional, highly skilled singer and is also highly skilled in body combat.
