Elliot’s impressive cinema, stage and television career has seen him work opposite and be directed by Academy Award winners and nominees, BAFTA Award winners and Primetime Emmy nominees to name a few. He made his cinema debut as a child actor under the direction of BAFTA Award winner Peter Greenaway in ‘The Tulse Luper Suitcase’. This was followed shorlty by ‘Crusade in Jeans’ in which he played Benedict opposite Benno Fürmann and two-time Academy Award nominee Emily Watson. His early television credits included guest leads in ‘Peak Practice’ (ITV), and ‘Casualty’ and ‘Doctors’ for BBC Television. As an adult, Elliot became more widely known to British television audiences in his Series Regular role as Kevin Foster in BAFTA winning ‘Hollyoaks’ (Channel 4). More recent television credits have included episode lead roles as Jeremy in ‘AIDS: The Unheard Tapes’ (BBC Television), Frank Sprague in ‘The Engineering That Built America’ (History Channel) and ‘Holby City’ (BBC Television). Other cinema credits include the role of Private Peters opposite Primetime Emmy nominee Paul Bettany and Sam Claflin in ‘Journey’s End’ (Lionsgate, directed by Saul Dibb). He also starred alongside Craig Conway in short film ‘Off Your Head’. Elliot is also an accomplished stage actor, performing as Donalbain opposite (and being directed by) Academy Award winner Sir Kenneth Branagh in the National Theatre’s production of ‘Macbeth’ (also released in UK cinemas and staged in New York) and starring opposite Rupert Everett in ‘The Judas Kiss’ (Chichester Festival Theatre). Other stage credits include ‘The Spiderman’ and ‘He’s Talking’ (both for National Theatre), ‘Screwface’ (Bush Theatre), Lucy Bailey’s ‘Witness for the Prosecution’, ‘Ethel & Earnest’ and ‘Twelfth Night’ (both for Nottingham Playhbouse Theatre) and ‘Outlaws to In-Laws’ (King’s Head Theatre). Elliot grew up in Nottingham where he trained alongside Samantha Morton amongst others at The Television Workshop.
