Andre recently appeared in cinemas opposite three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner Julia Garner and two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest, in ‘Apartment 7A’ (Paramount). His other recent screen credits include ‘The Diplomat’ (Netflix) and part of the ensemble lead cast in ‘The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes’ (an Netflix Original documdrama). Andre made his cinema debut in Academy Award nominated ‘Oscar and Lucinda’ starring Ralph Fiennes and Cate Blanchett. His other cinema credits include the role of Pope Clement V in ‘The Da Vinci Code’ starring Tom Hanks. Other feature film credits include ‘Day of the Sirens’ alongside the late Rik Mayall. On televison, Andre’s credits include ‘Keen Eddie’ (Paramount), ‘Catterick’ (BBC Television), ‘Hale and Pace Downunder’ (ITV) and ‘Millennium: A Thousand Years of History’ (narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley). Andre’s stage credits include ‘Julius Caesar’ (Barbican), ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ (Pleasance Theatre), ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (Original Shakespeare Company) and, in Australia, ‘Cross Beat’ (Sydney Theatre Company). Andre is also an accomplished jazz singer and saxophonist, and following his early cinema and teleivison success as an actor, focused on touring as a singer and musician. He has returned full time to acting in the last couple of years, and has already built a strong CV of recent cinema and television credits. He holds British, Irish and Australian passports, is a skilled horserider and also holds vehicle licences for car and motorcycle.
