Afzal

Ali Afzal is a rising talent having recently starred as Karen opposite Ben Hardy in Sally El-Hosaini’s feature film ‘Unciorns’, which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival, followed by the BFI London Film Festival, prior to a UK and European theatrical release. The film can now be see on Netflix. Ali’s television credits include the title role of ‘The Fake Sheikh’ for Amazon Studios, a leading role as Chaudry Wala in ‘Hidden Heroes’ (Disney, directed by Adeyemi Michael), Rajesh Kumar in ‘Hijacked: Flight 73’ (Sky Television), Asif in ‘We Are Lady Parts’ (Channel 4 & Working Title Television), Mo in ‘Adulting’ (opposite Adiza Shardow), ‘Untold: The Police’ (Channel 4) and ‘Massive’ (BBC Television). He also appeared opposite Big Narstie in the television comedy pilot ‘Cranston’. His feature film credits also include Robby alongside David Tag in ‘Departures’, which premiered at BFI Flare Festival and is co-directed by Neil Ely and British television director Lloyd Eyre Morgan. On stage, Ali appeared in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ for Royal Shakespeare Company.
