BALCHIN
Elliot is a rising Film, Television and Stage actor who made his Feature Film debut alongside Academy Award nominee Emily Watson, Ophelia Lovibond & Benno Fürmann in ‘Crusade in Jeans’. More recently, he was seen as Private Peters alongside Paul Bettany and Sam Claflin in Feature Film ‘Journey’s End’ (directed by BAFTA nominee Saul Dibb and based on the famous R.C. Sherriff stage play). He also played the role of Eric in Feature Film ‘The Tulse Luper Suitcase’, directed by Peter Greenaway.
His Television credits include Series Regular Kevin Foster in ‘Hollyoaks’ (Channel 4), and Guest Leads in ‘Holby City’ (BBC), ‘Doctors’ (BBC), ‘Casualty’ (BBC) and ‘Peak Practice’ (ITV).
Elliot’s numerous Stage credits include Donalbain in ‘Macbeth’ for National Theatre, alongside and directed by Kenneth Branagh (in a production screened in cinemas as part of the 'National Theatre Live’ series, and also staged in New York), Arthur in ‘The Judas Kiss’ (Chichester Festival Theatre) alongside Rupert Everett, Justin in ‘The Spiderman’ (National Theatre), Luke in ‘He’s Talking’ (National Theatre), Marvolio in ‘Twelfth Night’ (Nottingham Playhouse Theatre) and most recently ‘Witness for the Prosecution’ directed by Lucy Bailey.
Elliot began his career as part of a company of young actors at the BAFTA award winning 'ITV Workshop’, performing in numerous projects alongside Jack O’Connell, Vicky McClure, Joe Dempsey and Toby Kebbell to name a few. He trained at LAMDA and is also highly skilled in Stage Combat.
