Denholm trained as an actor at The Oxford School of Drama, RADA and also at the National Youth Theatre. He stars as the lead role in acclaimed series ‘The Grass Is Always Grindr’ which has recently been adapted into a Feature Film, premiering at London’s Curzon Soho. His other screen credits include ‘Extra Time’ opposite legendary ‘Doctor Who’ star Louise Jameson; ‘Sleeping Rough’ alongside Megan Prescott (Skins); festival favourite 'Meniscus' (including winner Best Feature at Hollywood Verge Awards) and ‘Dispatches’ (Channel 4).
Denholm is an OFFIE nominated actor for his performance in ‘The HIV Monologues’ (Theatre 503). He was also OFFIE nominated as Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Mercutio in Secret Theatre’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’. He was named one of “Top 12 Leading Men of the Year” by MyTheatreMates alongside 'Game of Thrones' star Kit Harington. Other notable performances include lead role Reg in a theatre adaptation of Ken Loach’s ‘Cathy Come Home’ (Barbican), 'Don’t Kick the Bucket’ (Arcola), ‘Punk Rock’ (Rose Theatre Kingston), ‘Defining Moments of Truth & Deception’ (Soho Theatre) and has performed Shakespeare at Blenheim Palace. His accomplishments in Theatre led to him to serving as a judge on the Olivier Awards panel 2011 - 2012.
Denholm is a rising British actor and has been interviewed on Television by BBC Breakfast and London Live and in major international publications such as Cosmopolitan, Attitude Magazine and Gay Times.
He is also a highly skilled swimmer and experienced in Physical Theatre, Singing and Voice Over.
