12 x 3 hour classes

Maximum of 12 actors

 

Description

The Advanced Actors course is suitable for professional actors, or those with previous professional training, looking to develop their acting skills in English, explore new techniques in Screen-Acting, and learn more about working as an actor in the UK and USA. This course is taught entirely in English.

Course for Beginners

Maximum of 14 actors

 

Description

The Beginners course is suitable for beginners who are thinking about a career in acting, or are still very early into their training. This course also welcomes non-actors who may be interested in learning a new skill, or developing their use of the English language in an exciting way. This course is taught entirely in English.

HOW TO APPLY

COURSE FOR ADVANCED ACTORS

Actors who already have existing showreel scenes performed in English, please send a link to your showreel or relevant English scenes, plus your completed Application Form (download below), to: workshop@twentyninefive.group

 

Actors who do not have either a showreel or previous showreel scenes performed in English, please download the English Course Entry Monologue below, and record yourself performing this (using a phone camera is accepted). Please send a link to the video and completed Application Form to: workshop@twentyninefive.group

COURSE FOR BEGINNERS

The Course Entry Monologue is not required. Please download and complete the Application Form and return it to: workshop@twentyninefive.group 

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Darren has starred in major TV productions such as Emmy-Award winning ‘The Bible’, 3 years as a Series Regular on BAFTA nominated TV series ‘Hollyoaks’, BBC series including ‘Holby City’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘Eric, Ernie & Me’, plus many other TV projects in the UK, and last year appeared in ‘Diagnoza’for TVN. Film credits include releases from Paramount Pictures and Lionsgate, and he has also starred on stage in London’s West End. As a director/producer, his credits include British TV pilots, award-winning short films and music videos, and stage productions in London. He will direct his debut feature film in Poland in 2019, and he is also the founder of Film & Television Production Company Twenty-Nine Five Pictures. He has also worked as an international Screen-Acting coach in leading schools in London, Berlin, Warsaw and the Channel Islands, and has coached celebrities and high profile actors in the UK. He is also available for Private Coaching.
