CEZAR

GRUMAZESCU

Cezar trained at the National University of Theatrical & Cinematographic Arts in Romania and is based in Bucharest, Romania. He speaks fluent English and Romanian, and also French.

 

Cezar’s British TV credits include ‘Metropolis’ (narrated by Stanley Tucci), Buckingham in ‘Britain’s Bloody Crown’ (Channel 5), ‘Adolf & Eva: Love & War (Channel 5), and Richard II in ‘Britain’s Bloodiest Dynasty’ (Channel 5).

 

His Feature Film credits in Romania include major roles in Diaz (Fandango/Universal Pictures), ‘Soldiers: Story from Ferentari’ (Beta Cinema), ‘Coboram la prima’, ‘The Prison of Angels’, ’Ultimul Corupt din Romania’ and ‘Poker’. 

 

Cezar is a rising star in Romanian Theatre, and his credits at the prestigious Teatrul Mic include Bevolio in ‘Romeo & Juliet’, The Sheriff in ‘August: Osage County’, Hanschen Rilow in ‘Spring Awakening’, and ‘The Life and Death of Richard III’ to name a few. Other Theatre credits include Scripss in ‘The History Boys’ (Teatrul Excelsior), Tyler Shaw in ‘The Brooklyn Boy’ (Teatrul Evreiesc de Stat), The Boy in Jon Fosse’s ‘The Name’ (Teatrul Foarte Mic), The Commissioner in Molière’s ‘Tartuffe’ (Teatrul de Comedie) and Orlando in ‘As You Like It’.
